Elena Lorenzi is a singer and composer born in Brescia, Italy. She got her Diploma in Opera Singing at the “Luca Marenzio” Conservatoire where she studied with Silvia Dalla Benetta. In 2009, she graduated with honors in Music Disciplines at the University of Bologna. She attended for several years the Composition course at the Conservatoire of Brescia. In 2012, she won a scholarship and was invited to study pop song interpretation at the Centro Europeo di Toscolano (CET), the prestigious school founded by the famous Italian songwriter Mogol. She is specialized in vintage repertoire of Chansons Français, German Cabaret, Musical and Popular music. She attended “How to create a Cabaret solo Performance”, a course of cabaret acting at the Freie Universität of Berlin, coached by Zishan Ugurlu (resident actress and director at La Mama theatre in New York City). Elena performs regularly in different styles and finds very important to collaborate with other artists. She met the pianist and composer Sara Zamboni during her studies in Brescia and they started a long and productive collaboration performing together XX Century repertoire, arrangements and many new compositions. She founded the project “Down To Myself” in collaboration with the composer Sebastiano Della Bianchina. They compose original soundtracks for short films, commercials and web series.
